As every design company will tell you, client work always takes precedence over designing the website for your own business, leading to a situation where your site always seems to be terribly out of date. All credit then for not only producing a site that is up to date, but one that is visually clear, technically and editorially adventurous, and appears to be well maintained with new projects and new information to boot.

If you know either Johnson Banks, or its founder Michael Johnson, you'll also know how appropriate this site is for the way the company works and talks, and for the work it produces.

You may have seen a project called the Virtual Thesaurus (I think) some years ago which demonstrated a way of navigating through links in a way not dissimilar to this, but this certainly moves that idea an appealingly bright and visually strong step forward.

We'd like you to rate a project for success in three different areas. Tick looks good if it is aesthetically pleasing, and tick works well if it is technically innovative. Most importantly tick performs effectively if you think it meets all of its professional objectives.

Obviously we don't really expect to see any work submitted that is no good, but you never know.
