This is a website for Grey Goose, a French vodka brand.

It's a lovely concept that has been well executed with sharp, fresh graphics.

What really adds to the brand experience of this site though is the use of sound. The soundtrack that accompanies the user through the site is spacious and creates an atmosphere that works seamlessly with the visual language. Different scenes have subtle changes in the sound which, for me, creates a different emotional charge to each scene. It really is a visual and audio delight and something for us all to bear in mind. What sound does for this brand is add an extra point of differentiation. It helps get a little closer to the consumer by influencing the audio and visual senses. I believe sound (or sonic branding) will definitely play an important role in the future of digital design.

We'd like you to rate a project for success in three different areas. Tick looks good if it is aesthetically pleasing, and tick works well if it is technically innovative. Most importantly tick performs effectively if you think it meets all of its professional objectives.

Obviously we don't really expect to see any work submitted that is no good, but you never know.

More than four and a half thousand visits ...

... and not one comment. Until this.

Given this project has had way more visits than any other there must be some Grey Goose marketing 'click thru' or some other external link happening somewhere to bring other than the regular dynamo london visitors to this page. Does this prove that the Grey Goose marketing is really effective, or not, since there's no evidence yet displayed here of actually engaging the potential consumer? Lots of visibility for sure, but no action following that call to action.

And is the product that good? I'm sticking with Russian or Polish brands myself.
