I am not a user interface designer, but I think this blog could be a great site for somebody looking for inspiration.

There is a gallery of user interface and interaction examples, another gallery that looks at the design aspect of websites (i.e how influential, innovative, and effective are they) and a blog section.

According to the creator Michael Angeles, his goal is to "prove the point that design patterns are nice, but innovation for the sake of improving contextual experience is better".
